Currently, I'm working as an Architect at Oracle Corporation. At Oracle my primary assignment is to get involved and contribute to the Community Project - Hudson Continuous Integration Server. Before Sun Microsystem was acquired by Oracle Corporation I worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems. At Sun I was involved in a project called Project Vector also known as Java Store. The aim of this project is to build a robust store that provides an easy and secure means of discovering and acquiring compelling Java and JavaFX applications like Social networking, games, productivity tools and business applications.
Before a brief period at Aptana, I was a Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems and worked in the Developer Tools Group from Jul 2000 to Aug 2008.
My main area of focus is Visual Web Development Tool for Netbeans IDE. I've been contributing to several architectural areas such as Window Manager, Web Services, Data Sources, CSS Style builder, CSS Authoring tool, Web Page Navigation Editor and Web Page Design (details).
I regularly blog at Sun Microsystems' blog site.
Before joining Sun, I worked as a Satellite Remote Sensing scientist for about a decade and developed sophisticated applications such as monitoring tropical storms for disaster warning using satellite data (details).
